Safe Behind Closed Doors

I am coming to you from a seedy motel room in Lynchburg, VA. I have locked myself in here to make sure that I am not captured by locals and violated in terrible ways.

There is a knock on the door!

Whew...just the TV. I need some moonshine to calm my nerves.

So my girl Haley is still in the running for American Idol. Casey got the boot last night. It was a little surprising unless you figure that he was already kicked off once yet saved by the judges.
He was one of my picks for final four; ironically, Haley was not.

Lauren Alaina is apparently having some trouble with the notoriety. She has been visually disturbed about comments made abotu her somewhere. I guess people are commenting that she is a little chubby, although I'm not sure what it is exactly. The girl is 16, personable and cute. She has a good voice, so that can't be it. But she really is a nice, humble girl. If she was a snot I'd say blast away.

I thought Jacob Lusk would get the boot last night because he went first and wore the most ungodly outfit I have since on that show. I had been more of a supporter of his talent early on in the contest. I don't like the singing in the high voice. He is much more effective in the lower range. But enough people dig the falsetto to keep him around so that is all that matters.

Its anyone's game.

The new podcasts are available at marshcast.com. We had a real good taping last Monday and had a lot of fun. Hopefully you can hear that in the final product.
If you are sensitive don't listen though.

The Mets come into Philly tonight. They had a 6-game winning streak snapped by the Nationals but they are hitting well and hitting in the clutch. That's all anyone can ask from the team for which you root.

Some Phillies commentators are giving Roy Oswalt the business for heading out to Texas to "check on his family" after the wild storms there last week. The comment I kept hearing over and over again was, "fly your family to Philly." He is making some 10 million dollars and one would think that would make sense.
A little internal controversy on the Phils is welcome to me.

So its a hypnosis show tonight at an after prom in Lynchburg. I am not sure why they seem to be so popular at high school after proms, but I'm not complaining. I had a show in Baltimore canceled on me for tomorrow night because the company needed to cut their budget recently.

Times continue to be so slow that I did have to take a part-time job here. It really pisses me off that I had to do so, but its on a contract basis so I have flexibility.

I am probably going to talk about Donald Trump on my podcast. And do Angry Man Dating Advice for Beginners. I'll try to tie the two of them together somehow.

No I won't, they'll be separate topics.

Ok, this laptop is a pain in the ass to use so I am cutting this short. I just needed to say that I saved Haley again on American Idol, so HAHAHA to those of you who are jealous that I love her.

LOL
